June Goals Coming Soon

Sorry for the lack of updates, I really want that rematch button so I figured I'd leave that post up for longer than usual. Hopefully that ends up happening soon.

Went to the horse track tonight for my buddy's graduation party. He's graduating from the Art Institute of Chicago. It was a blast, he won like 100 bucks on the second to last race, and my other buddy who I brew with won 180 on the last race, after being down about 100.

I ended up making like 3-5 bucks after being up 20, not really very dramatic. I know a guy who's sister works at the track so I was trying to get tips and get some sort of an edge or less of a -EV spot on the races. I feel I bet pretty well in the end, but wasn't super interested. It was just a good time to get out and drink a bunch of beer with my buddies on a great night.

The month ended up ok, I ran below expectation in 110s and only ended up playing 4 220s. I lost all 4 but won all 4 200 regular speeds I played, so 4-4 in 220/200s this month. I made like 2200 overall playing 110s this month and had to flip 5 550s w Skates to get my 10k vpps. I played so little in the early part of the month I had to play like 90+ games in the last 3 days of play to get near my 10k vpps.

Despite running kind of trashy in the last 3 days, I still felt I played pretty well and didn't really get too stressed playing more games in one day than I ever have before (45). Hopefully I can build on this and put in a very good month for June. Correction, I will put in a much better month. I've kind of sifted below potential for way too long with my work ethic in poker, so it's about time I actually put in a quality month. June should be that month.

I'm gong to outline a list of goals for June tomorrow night or Monday. This will include husngs and hu cash goals. I'll factor in a few hrs a week of coaching plus my business hours, but even with that if I work hard I SHOULD put in more hours playing than I have since I started about 17 months ago.

Speaking of my business, things are starting to pick up. The weather has been shit so I haven't been working as much as expected, but today it finally passed 80 degrees, so it's only a matter of time before every day is 80+ and the lows stop dipping below 50 (I can't work if the low is below 50).

I'll update with goals and such in the next day or two, I also will have a strategy post or two coming very soon and maybe even a surprise or two in June.

Wanted: Rematch Button on Pokerstars

I think it would be a very good thing for everybody if Stars implemented a "rematch" button in their husngs, similar to what Full Tilt and Ultimate Bet have.

I've started a thread in the HU forum on 2+2. It is basically a semi-organized effort to make this happen.
