Rough day

They transferred my gf to the hospital she had her transplant at. Still don't know what's going on, they think maybe some kind of flu or sinus infection or something. Her kidneys are working fine though, so hopefully it's not that.

My mom got her test results back, and she has a form of MS. Not the worst kind (my aunt had that) so hopefully she's ok. She's going into the hospital tomorrow for 3 days.

A little over 9k vpps to go for supernova, obviously the most important thing going on now (har har).

Ugh

Girlfriend's fever got up to 103 on Christmas evening. Had to bring her to the hospital, she has some kind of infection. They're going to transfer her to another hospital tomorrow to try to figure out what's going on. Her kidneys are ok as far as we've been told so far, so that looks good. She's had a nasty little cold for a few days so hopefully it's just a bug she's having trouble fighting off.

Mom gets her test results back tomorrow. I've been driving her in and out of the hospital for testing for the last week or so, the right side of her body has been numb and she can't work/drive/move faster than a turtle.

So yea, that and supernova, life is fun. Luckily I "have a little help from my friend." Still need like 10k vpps in 4 days, hoho.

Christmas Grind

Really dug myself into a hole here with supernova, but considering I didn't reach 50k vpps until late October and didn't play in November, it shouldn't have been easy ;).

I still plan on getting it, but my mom has been in and out of the hospital getting tests done and I've had to drive her for this stuff the last few days.

Between that and christmas shopping, I've hardly had a chance to play.

Our 4th stout and first all grain beer turned out worse than we expected. The ABV is only like 3%, our grain bill was pretty off. It's still carbonating, but I think I'm going to throw this batch out. If my brother (16) drank like I did when I was his age, I'd just give it to him and his friends, but it's probably a good thing that he doesn't.

So we made a new stout last night, it should hit over 6% abv and it should be pretty hoppy. If anybody drinks Dogfish Head beers out there, we used a similar hop process as they do for a lot of their beers. It's called continuous hopping. Stouts aren't known for their hoppy character, but I personally have enjoyed the few hoppy stouts that I've had. I'm really looking forward to this beer.

Finishing up the beer front, our IPA (similar to Dogfish Head 60 minute) is almost ready to keg. It should be ready for christmas eve and I'll probably bring some over to the party on my dad's side. I was hoping the stout would turn out for that, as most of my family drinks darker beers.

Our "special" barleywine is still second fermenting. Will probably bottle this one in a week or so and age it until early February before we try it. This one might actually finish over 10% abv, the IPA should be around 7-8%.

Back to poker, I plan on playing as much as I can tonight and tomorrow after I drive my mom to the doctor's. The night of the 26th I'll probably make a decision as to whether or not it is possible for me to get supernova or not. Regardless, I need to get the games in (xmas is expensive) so I'll be playing hard until then.

My girlfriend's birthday is the 23rd, so it's made my holiday a little busier than I should expect. More on her gifts in a few days.

Oh, and after my post the other day reviewing all of those games, I finished the day up about 25 bucks over 17 games, so I went something like 6-2 on the day. I was pretty drained from playing 17 games and reviewing and posting and talking about 9 of them, but I felt it's something I'll be making a habit of in the near future.

I think playing 15-20 550s a day and reviewing every HH would be a nice, profitable and satisfying "job" in the near future. I bought a few books to educate me on some other business ventures I plan on getting involved with in the next few years. More on that in the upcoming weeks/months.

A day in the life of the 110s

I've had a semi-bad start to the day. I'm reviewing my HHs so far to see how good/bad I've played. I'll highlight most of the major hands, and offer some strategical thoughts where they apply.

First up is Woltas. I saw him register at one or two 110s, so I figure he's done regging.

I sit, he sits. I sit again, he sits. So I'm two tabling a 6%+ winner with an average stake of 300+.

Still, he's never seemed very good to me, I have no idea how his ROI is that high. My notes on him are "calls 3-bets light, over 3-bets light." I've played him a little bit in the past. I haven't ran well vs him, but I recall a 4x+ 3-bet first level with A4o from him. This is the kind of stuff I can expect.

First major hand besides me 3-betting JJ and flopping trips, he folds to my turn bet. This hand is standard, but seems to be a sign of things to come.

Quality stuff, but overall just a little bit of a downer game.

Lets take a look at how the other table vs woltas is doing.

Standard match, only one pot over 400. I lose 33 to ATs with 1400 stacks in 50-100.

Overall not a bad start in terms of play. I've been a little card dead and lost some flips.

Moving on..

First hand vs a pretty horrible player. I played this like an idiot. Once I call the turn I call the river. I did that right, but then I second guessed myself and convinced myself I was calling the turn out of frustration/spew. Silly me.

Oh well, I would come back to see more life in this match.

Here's the next major hand. I had pulled a little "go and go" vs him earlier with KQ and he folded. This hand here is pretty standard. I opted to raise to 90 for two reasons. 1) He hadn't limped hardly ever in this match, he was fairly crazy/bluffy and had balls so I wouldn't be surprised to see a LRR shove here, which I could not call profitably. 2) Stacks were small and he is pretty aggro. He's going to bluff big when he bluffs and I'd rather not commit myself to pots I don't have to. 90 was best here imo.

I'm more worried about a check behind (which I play for pot control and check call his river bluff/straight) than a bet really. He should stack off with a K or Q, maybe a T and perhaps some sort of T9 94 type combo draw (yea 94 is definitely in his range, especially suited). Plus I get the fold equity from his bluff here. I doubt he's firing 2 and a lot of rivers scare the crap out of me.

The next hand I'm not sure about. I probably should be firing 2 here. At the same time he's bluffing a ton of rivers so it might be more profitable to play a smaller, higher equity pot. I opted for the latter option and it paid off. After this hand I figured him for an idiot. He must watch too many of those "call to take it away later" poker shows on tv. Lol.

After that my next big hand is K4s which I call his PF shove and run into AK. He holds. 0-3, but nothing atrocious yet. I'm doing ok, not tilting or anything. Lets see how the game I was playing on the other table went.

Good start. I raise the river so big because most of his calling range is Ax and he should call this raise with Ax. He can probably get away from an 8 or a 6 (though I would expect some players to call with that) because the backdoor hit the river and the J might scare him a bit. Keep in mind this is not a good player.

Here's an example of him being a "not good" player.

By this time the other match was over. I was 0-3, not feeling too happy about this match, already taking a break after this game finished, I did not open up another game.

I'm not sure how I feel about the following hand. I wouldn't say I was tilting, but I wasn't in a good mood either and was stopping my session for a 15-20 minute break.

The minraise thing he'd been doing about half the time I limped (which wasn't a lot) in the last dozen or so buttons. That, combined with him stabbing out pretty aggressively made me feel like I had a lot of fold equity here. And I do still have some outs if I'm behind. Not many though, and this is probably not a profitable play. I'm not sure, it's hard to tell because of the holding I saw here. But I went with my read and made a move, if only I had done the same in that AK hand.

So I'm 1-3, and I need a break. I come back 30 minutes later, feeling refreshed and ready to go.

Obviously woltas sits with me right away. Redemption, perhaps? I think I've lost my last 3 against him, and while I feel I have a clear edge in the match, I have a bigger edge against other players. I just feel I know where he is strong and where he is weak.

Here I think I miss a river bet. If I did miss it, it is super thin, but I think I can get some value here out of Woltas. He doesn't have a Q or T ever here and I can respect a raise from him, he's not laggy or spewy/bluffy, but he will look me up with a 7 imo.

Normally I play as nitty OOP as woltas does against me. This means I'm 3-betting more than I am calling, and I'm not calling very often here. He's calling 3-bets pretty light so most of my strong hands and every PP is being 3-bet for value.

So when I call T9o OOP, I need to make these kinds of river value bets if I want to be profitable with this PF call. I fail to do so.

I don't think he's ever said a word to me. I've displayed my lack of enthusiasm about playing him in our first few matches (a few months ago), I've also made some friendly comments here or there, but he's never said a word in the chat. Oh well, I'll be fine playing him when he sits with me.

Lets see how I'm doing on the other table (if you notice throughout this, I'm 2 tabling these 110 turbos at all times).

This hand is tough. At the time I didn't have the reads to get away from this, but I feel I should almost be thinking the opposite, I should have a read to call here. He wasn't just donking OOP every raised flop or anything. Tough hand, could be avoided if I had folded the flop. This is the kind of trouble I can get into when I take a marginal read and put myself in a very tough spot. I've really cut back on it over the last 500 or so games, and I definitely see a big improvement in my game, but I have to continue to do this.

Don't get me wrong, I'm flatting or raising this donk bet against a lot of players, but I didn't have a specific read here.

Not much else happens in this game. He's overbet raised a few of my limps. I limp 44, he checks J7. Flops a 7, I lose a flop bet, nothing major. Been running into a lot of those lately (where they do something a few times, I get a hand to exploit it and they fail to continue the pattern), just variance.

Overall, as most of my games so far have gone, this game had very few "medium" pots, and one big hand pretty much made the difference when we were medium-deep stacked.

I'm 2-4 now, and playing 2 more.

First hand on my new game. This is an example of "wishful thinking." I can't believe I call here but don't call the AK hand earlier. As you can see, I've mentioned this a few times and it obviously bothers me and I won't go against my reads/feelings mid hand in the near future :)

I think the river bet is fine, but there's no way he's minraising a 5 or 6 here on the first hand. Silly to not fold the river.

The next hand I make some money back, he calls a 3x raise with 85o, so now I know what I'm up against after he proceeds to chase a gutshot and miss.

Some reenforcement of hand one being a clear river fold.

I'm normally not as comfortable as I was in the past just blindly leading bottom pair on wet flops in limped pots, I generally mix up my play in these areas. This guy was clearly calling super super light, so I think any piece of a flop should be bet for value, including A high.

The turn is very nice, and he's been getting more aggressive. This was not a solid "he's going to bet" read or anything, but I felt if he bets here normally at all, at this point in the match he's leading out with a wider range. Luckily he did, unfortunately he didn't look me up light, but I'll take the extra 250 chips from his K high draw.

I miss a flop lead and a river value bet in between this hand. I wasn't as clear with my reads during the game as I am reviewing this, and I definitely need to focus a little better in some of these games.

Then this hand hits, and it's obviously just a standard beat.

This is a fairly ridiculous hand. I don't think he does this with a combo draw to be honest. I figured, overpair or straight/straight draw, overcards most of the time. I don't really know, he's done some strange stuff during the course of the match, showing some marginal looking aggression at times.

Yea, 12bbs, but I'm ahead of his calling range + FE = profit.

Onto the other table.

Shahin86 sits with me. He's a marginal winner but I'd much rather play somebody like woltas. Shahin86 is a very laggy player and I think he spews in a lot of spots, but makes up for some if not all of that by putting me in some tough spots where I (presumably) make poor decisions. I felt I played the match fine (prior to reviewing this). I made a remark about how he should be playing Camel when he sat with me (he refused to not sit with Camel and Camel apparently took offense to this a few months ago).

About 6 hands in. This is an example of "spewy" Shahin. While I haven't played him before, I know somewhat how he plays and have no problem playing this so aggressively. It should help in future hands/games as well.

One thing I notice already in this game. Twice in raised pots in position I cbet him on semi dry boards. Twice he floated with Ax and I failed to fire 2 or bluff a river. He's not tricky enough to where I shouldn't be able to recognize and fire multiple times in these spots.

Here's a semi-strange hand. I can't see a ton of value in the river here, I doubt he's hero calling K high for much value, maybe a PP or 3? I'm not sure if he's bluff raising me with anything here either, but I can see him check raising the river for value.

This hand just sucks. I should have bet more on the turn, but I have to call this river. An interesting note is the 490. I've picked up on some players in the past betting a little less than the "100,200,300" marks when they want a call and a little more when they're bluffing.

Not to say this is what is going on here, just a related note.

After this I win a flip to take a big lead but then his 33 holds against my A2.

Not much is going on besides these hands. He's calling me light OOP when I raise, I'm picking up a lot of pots uncontested, he's made a few floats and big river bets, etc.

Last hand.

In hindsight, maybe I should raise a little more here preflop or shove. He's going to call my shove with a weaker range. He's just calling so often OOP and is being so laggy I think I get value out of 99 here. Regardless, I can see arguments for shoving, LRR and raising here against Shahin. Other than that, I think the hand played itself (I should have bet 250ish here because I was calling a shove).

Ok, well 3-5 going into my final match of the "early" part of my session today.

This match was pretty boring overall. He was limping hands like AKo early on and I lost a few pots on thin calls. I fought back a bit, lost some, etc. and this was the final hand.

3-6 day so far.

Reviewing all of my hands so far today was definitely cumbersome/time consuming but I felt I was playing too poorly to put it off any longer.

I need to mainly focus a little more in these matches so I can exploit the reads I pick up more often. I obviously didn't run well in these big pots today so far, but I've also spewed enough to cause myself at least one buyin today.

I didn't want to spend so much time and energy reviewing hands because I'm really trying for Supernova and way way behind right now, but I just really needed it.

Hope you enjoy the hands and comments, I'll do another one towards the end of this month or in early January (unless I go robusto and hit Nova early).

-------------

The first hand made sense at the time. I thought given the flow of the game and his hand ranges that the 3-bet was solid and he was not calling/4-bet shoving small aces or crap. He must have had a feeling I was weak/bluffing because villain is a fairly decent winner. I just love when other winning players sit with me. I played quite a few yesterday. I ran into this bizarre guy that was one of the biggest winners in the 110s I'd seen statistically, but he was flatting my raises OOP with stuff like 85o and 26o. He turned trip 2s with 72s OOP vs my top pair and that finished that game.

I'm working on a "tilt control" article. I'll probably finish it tonight or tomorrow sometime, it's over halfway done. I'll post it on here when I am finished.

My buddy almost has the "basic" site halfway done. We'll be transferring my blog over to husng.com when this happens. Probably will have Hokie and BCM blogging there, and maybe a few others.

I'm going to start to write some more articles, but my main goal right now is to make money and get supernova. The month started out well, I was 2-3 tabling the 100 regular speeds on PS, made 1500+ in a very short amount of time, but had to start playing turbos because of 'nova. I've had a little 5 buyin downswing since doing that, but hopefully I can bounce back. I think supernova will make me at least 3k in extra money next year, so I really think it's worth going for. I need another 16-17k vpps this month to hit it.

Update

Hokie has started updating his blog again, check it out when you have a chance.

I also traded links with Andrew, who runs PSmoney.com among other websites/business ventures. He just started his blog and is a pretty cool guy, so check out his blog if you get a chance.

I'll update more tomorrow probably.

Also, a friend of mine is going to be putting up the basic parts for the website (husng.com). I'll be transferring my blog there and hopefully he'll also put up some of the cool poker tools that Poker Curious (from 2+2) designed. These are all free, btw.

Probably won't have the video and other loaded content sections up for at least another month. I want to finance this thing 100% on my own, for the most part, and I don't have the money to invest in a fully functional site at the moment. If you know anybody who wants to invest in the site, have them ship me an email (ryan.ryryp13@gmail.com) or post here. But to be clear, I'm looking for a decent investment (not like 500 bucks) rather than a bunch of small investors or small deals. Otherwise, I'll be going ahead with my plan to open the site in stages.

I found some great website guys (finally) that I plan on using down the line when I have some more money to put into the more complicated parts of the site. Their name is ClearlyMosaic (http://www.clearlymosaic.com/) and Collin Moshman (author of the 2+2 SNG/STT book) recommended them to me.

Speaking of Collin, he is working on a husng book. It should be out sometime in the late spring (I think) and I will and you should be looking forward to it.

More on that, the website and some goals/plans in future updates.

Birthday

Last night was pretty crazy.

We went to this sandwich and craft beer place. It actually turned out to be an upscale little bar/lounge type place.

The beer was insane. They have something like over 200 beers from small microbreweries in the US and Canada. Every type of beer imaginable, they have at least a few choices to choose from.

I started out with a 9% abv breakfast stout. Then a 10% strong ale, then a 15% barleywine, you see where this is going.

We got there around 830pm and left around 12-1 (?). They actually close at 1030, but they were staying to do holiday decorating and we had a party of like 8, so the bartender (my gf hated her) stayed and we kept drinking.

There was an ill-timed whiskey shot somewhere around midnight, I don't really remember the exact time, but I finished my second helping of some other super strong, super tasty beer. That was it for me and a little while later we stumbled into my buddy JJ's Expedition. My girlfriend drove (as she can't drink bc of the kidney transplant) and we headed home.

The next 4-5 hours consisted of me drinking a lot of water and watching Ocean's 13 with JJ. Solid movie, nothing fancy, doesn't try to WOW you, but it's a very well put together movie IMO. Better than 12, at least in the same discussion as 11.

Anyways, going out with the girlfriend tonight to celebrate my birthday. We're probably going to go to this nice Hawaiian place 30ish minutes away when she's out of class tonight.

I'll have a website update tomorrow or Saturday and find a little graph to post as well.

Birthday

My birthday is tomorrow. Me, my girlfriend and a few of my friends are going downtown to this pretty sweet sandwich place that serves some of the best beer from around the country. Looking forward to a few beers in particular.

I'm super busy so I'll post more soon, including my monthly graph and some news about the site.

Until then, enjoy the games.

Turkey Day

Had a good meal with my girlfriend, mother and brother today.

Beat brother in Stratego and beat all 3 of them in Monopoly and Scrabble, for the clean 3-0 sweep.

Only got in 13 games tonight but I played extremely well and the results showed. 10-3 at the FTP 55s.

Going to be moving up again soon on FTP to finish off the last stretch of my bonus before I (probably) head back to PS.

I've improved a lot or some of my improvement started to show lately, I've felt a lot better about many spots and I'm finding more/better spots to exploit players.

I think I've ran pretty bad the last month or so, so this "sudden improvement" will probably look a lot bigger than it really is on the stat sheet, but either way I'm happy.

I wanted to play a lot more today but I've been detained with some stuff related to brewing for the last hour or so (my buddy got online).

We're doing a lot of stuff that should bring our beers to the next level. A lot of things are improving at once and we're near a "regular" stout (regular as in something we'd regularly brew without changes).

We also have a keg and wine fridge so we'll be drinking beers on tap now with better heads. The fridge will also allow us to second ferment a wider/better range of beers.

We have a very special beer planned in the next week, it should be ready by new year's and it's going to be insane. I'll talk more about that in the future, but I'm really excited about it.

I bought one of Anthony Bourdain's books from Border's the other day. For those of you who are not familiar with Bourdain, he hosts travel channel's "No Reservations." He's a pretty bad ass chef who travels around the world trying out food and experiencing the culture. I recommend the show to anybody really, and the book is great so far. He has a very Hunter S. Thompson esque writing/narrating style, that's probably the best way to describe him.

Anyways, going to read the book for awhile and get some sleep. I'm way behind on my 600 game goal this month, I'll be lucky if I end up at 500.

Oh, and I posted a hand in the 2+2 HU forum tonight. I don't normally post hands due to like a bunch of factors. Here's the link, I found the hand to be very interesting and it's not more of a question of what I should do, I felt very definitive in my decision in this hand and probably still will tomorrow. http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=13080219&an=0&page=0#Post13080219

I'm sick

Been getting sick since like Friday. Had a few beers last night when my buddy came over to watch Dexter and Always Sunny in Philadelphia (awesome show) and that was probably a mistake.

Had to cancel on going to the brewery tonight to try this new Porter that everybody has been raving about. It's in limited supply and was aged in oak barrels and I can't wait to try it.

Speaking of Friday night, my brother's HS football team had their final 8 state playoff game. It was in the third quarter and they were up by 3, my girlfriend got a phone call and started running from the bleachers. We ran about a mile to the car when I found out her dad had passed out at a restaurant and was being taken to the hospital.

By the time we reached the hospital he had just gotten in and was fine. His heart had stopped for a few minutes they said, but he was his usual stubborn self. Within 45 minutes he was convinced that all the tests they wanted to run were just to "make money" because they "are a business." Needless to say, him and his girlfriend got a ride from us to his hotel after the hospital and my girlfriend was very upset. He wouldn't heed the doctor, my girlfriend or my advice on staying in the hospital, at least to see some test results. He seemed a little out of it since then, but he went back up to the far north suburbs yesterday where he lives with my gf's sister, brother in law and their 2 year old baby. He said he'll go get some tests done this week at a doctor up there, but I wouldn't trust a word he says. Hopefully he's actually ok, but he's very unhealthy.

On the poker front, Collin Moshman may have helped me out a ton with the website. He recommended and introduced me to a web developer and designer with a very good reputation. I'm awaiting a reply back from them about the site. The previous webmaster is MIA and I'm in the process of taking some minor legal steps to get the work he's done for the site. I had a few other options after the previous guy went MIA, but nothing has panned out so far. Hopefully this works out well.

As far as games go, I finally caught a little heater 2 tabling 33s on FTP and moved up to the 55s. Things went well for a day or two, then Saturday night I ended on a horrible downswing. I was only like -100 for the day overall, but I was up a few hundred so it was a drastic swing for the day.

Yesterday was even worse, I went 5-15 and saw some of the sickest beats I can remember.

Today I've moved back to 2 tabling 33s for a few days (hopefully) and I'm 5-5 as of writing this. I'll do another 10 games at least, but probably not much more unless I start feeling a lot better (health wise not mentally).

I plan to print up and review a few HHs tonight, a 2+2er made me a real cool HH reviewer that is printer friendly (think 8-10 hands per page). It's super easy to use and read and I can print it out and review at night in bed or on the road if I wish. This is a tool that will be featured on the website (for free) as soon as I straighten out the webmaster situation. There are also a few other tools in development which will be free.

On the beer brewing front, our coffee stout is bottled and carbonating. We tried one of the 2 test bottles last night but it was still very flat (the beer is at least 4 days away from being ready). Another possible problem was it basically exploded upon opening. I'm not quite sure what that means, but my buddy has had this problem in the past and he said it is severely lessened by cold storage (after it is carbonated) so I'm not too worried. Besides the flatness, the beer has excellent potential and I really think we added the right amount of coffee, not too overpowering but it's there, especially in the aftertaste.

Our other beer, a little lighter, less hoppy stout with different grains is in 2nd ferment. We are going to prime with some molasses Wednesday or Saturday to add some initial flavor/sweetness to the beer. What is probably one of my 2-3 favorite beers, The Pullman Nut Brown Ale, uses a bit of molasses in it and it sure completes the beer. I honestly could drink that beer for the rest of my life and not be upset.

Anyways, I'll end this and hopefully have some more to post soon. Looking to be better by Friday because my brother's team won and is in the final 4 for state.

I also had 2 half cigarettes today, a good thing. I also had about 12 pints of water, another good thing. Here's to better health.

Update

Not a hell of a lot to say right now. Just grinding away and working on website stuff.

Going to try and do 20-30 a day in November on FTP. So far I have a little over 20 a day. Results have been pretty blah, but I'm adjusting to the faster structure. Players are crazy random, and it's kind of weird playing people with wider ranges. People show up with such random stuff.

I 4-bet shoved a guy like 40bb deep today with JJ, he called with 93s. This was in the middle of a game, not like first hand or anything. I held.

I have platinum on Stars already, thanks to my 6 maxxing buddy. Took a bit of a downswing, but we'll both ride through the variance.

Here's to a good November, lord knows I need it.

Unmotivated

Really don't have much to say, but haven't posted in awhile.

Comcast stable, our box on the outside of the house looked tampered, but our connection wasn't compromised during inspection. Dude next door being evicted, has 2 weeks or a month or something to move out.

Not winning much at all lately, depressing. Really seem to be running like shit. Just going to keep playing when I feel like playing. Just 2 tabling the FTP 33s still, getting in 20-25 a day on average when I play.

I'll post a happier post soon. Hopefully.

Comcast Sucks

Called them early afternoon, they said they would be there in 90 min. Call back 2.5 hrs later they say we're rescheduled for Monday. Thank god I don't have a job or anything.

Made 200 bucks 2 tabling 33s on FTP today again. Going to start doing 55s really soon, fun games/times.

Connection stable today, go figure.

Neighbor Story and Other Updates

My girlfriend and I live in an old business storefront right near the downtown area of the town. There are two other units in the building, one that is the same size as ours right next door, and a very small one room studio above that. The guy that owns the building owns a ton of real estate and a pretty big sports store that supplies a good amount of the Chicagoland area with team shirts.

When we moved in, we met the guy next door, Jack. He worked for the landlord, maintaining a few of his properties. In exchange for this, he lived next door for free and received 400 dollars a week.

We noticed right away that Jack did not seem to do much work. He's a 55 year old former everything, construction/carpenter/pipe/etc. worker. Sometime in August we called the landlord because the screens Jack was supposed to put up in our place were not up. We found out Jack was fired and would be moving out shortly. Then Jack disappeared for a few weeks. Apparently Jack went on a coke binge and sold all of his stuff and was now in rehab.

A few weeks later he was back and has been back since. The landlord won't return calls and Jack keeps saying he's suing him because he did a lot more work for him than he should have. Whatever.

So last week I see Jack outside, by the unfinished basement that is used for storage for the units. It's about4 decently sized rooms filled with this and that. We don't store much down there.

He tells me he's getting DSL and he's fixing his phone line so he doesn't have to pay extra installation charges. He says Wednesday (yesterday) that ATT is coming to set up his DSL.

He also tells me he's cleaned up some of the random junk that was in the basement (appears to be true).

That night (the tilt night) I lost connection during those last 2 games. The connection has randomly come in and out since then, and I cannot play poker. I looked at our connection wires downstairs, there are 4, 3 on one side of a splitter, 1 on another. 2 of the wires go into our place, the other 2 disappear towards his place. One of these goes towards our electrical box (I'm guessing that's the main connection, I couldn't get all the way back there because I couldn't find the light) and the other goes right up to the side of his place and disappears into the wall. This is right where he "cleaned up" the basement the other night.

So I refrained from questioning a drug addict about this, and we called Comcast, our cable service provider. They said our connection was not stable and they would come out Friday, in between 8am-8pm. Nice window.

My girlfriend also called the real estate business owner who helped us find the place (she set us up with this lady that does rentals for her, nice people). She got in touch with the owner of our place and said that he was very surprised that Jack still lived here and he was going to be getting the police to throw him out soon. This remains to be seen, the guy that lives above Jack is a very nice man, owns a sign business, he talked to the owner of our units off and on in the last month and made him aware that Jack still lives here.

The point of all this bs is that none of this had much to do with me until the internet fiasco. Now it affects me. I'm staying away from that side of the property until Comcast comes tomorrow and I hope that it's just some connection trouble that is easily fixed, and not him stealing our internet. If it is, he owes me 69 dollars, as per those two disconnection losses in the 33s the other night. I'll let him off the hook for me not being able to play for 2 days, I'm a nice guy like that.

---------------

The website guy is MIA again. Just when I email him a proposition, how convenient. I really don't want to have to drive an hour each way to find this guy, but I may have to soon. It's pissing me off more and more each day, a total lack of respect/professionalism on his part. I've called, emailed and waited for his AIM sn to be online, but nothing is doing.

I didn't get to do my daily walking yesterday, but the two days before I walked 2-3 miles each day. I'm going to keep doing this and probably increase it to 4-5 miles soon.

Yesterday my buddy and I made another beer. We didn't start until 1030-11 so we were up until around 3am with it. We changed some ingredients and are going to add a little coffee to the beer in 3-4 days when we start our 2nd ferment.

We're also going to brew another beer Saturday or Sunday and probably use some molasses in it. We have to be careful not to use too much, but one of our favorite beers uses a bit of molasses and tastes delicious. Both of our beers are dark beers, the second being a little lighter in all regards, but nonetheless is also a very solid stout. If we improve upon the last beer we will be very happy, as that beer was very good.

I'm going to go for a walk now, hopefully try to play a few games on Pokerstars later (their disconnection policy favors shitty connections) when one of 2 people I trust on my account are on and can take over for me if I disconnect. The last 24 hours it seems I disconnect about once every 2-3 hours, so it should be ok if somebody is on to take over for me (on Pokerstars though, FTP kills you too quickly).

Possible Problems

Neighbor might have split our cable so he could get it for free.

Some interesting "coincidences." More on this later, Comcast coming out Friday because our connection is not consistent. Kind of running out the door, but I'll post tonight/tomorrow.

Tilt

So I'm playing FTP, things are going great, start off like 9-0 2 tabling the 33s.

Run into some variance, no big deal, run AKs into AA and a few other beats.

Then I open up two more, flop top boat and disconnect.

I rarely disconnect, 2 times have I lost a game in like 2k games on PS due to disconnection. Fucking Comcast, I could shoot them.

So now I'm up 2 buyins tonight and I can't risk playing anymore. I'd of been up 4 buyins and been able to keep on rolling.

One good thing, I love this structure. It's super fast, I can't really get angry or upset over bad beats because I'm not attached to these games whatsoever. I made one bad river bet that kind of upset me, but other than that this was all fun and games until those disconnections. Ended up playing 27 games, must've went 15-12. Sigh.

Changes

So my goal has always been to continuously move up in the game as my bankroll grew and my game improved.

Funny thing happened, once I knew I was a winning player in the 11 turbos, I move up to the 22s, I may more money. Then I move up to the 33s and make even more money per game. Then I move up to the 55s/110s and... I haven't made more money per game.

I'm kind of torn as to what I need to do, but I feel I have to make a decision soon. I've played over 700 110 turbos, I feel I've ran below expectation for over half of these and close to 75% of these games.

So on one hand I feel as if I should keep playing these, it's not like I'm losing money at them, just not making very much at all. On the other hand, I don't know if I can continue to play more than 5-10 of these a day without positive results. I've been on a downswing/break even swing for like 200-300 games now, and I feel I've played pretty good poker overall.

A few options for me would be:

Move down to the 55s: Positives. Easier level to beat, less variance. Negatives: I never found the 55s that different from the 110s, potentially less profit/vpps.

Play 100 dollar regular speed games. Positives: Higher ROI than turbos, easier overall. Negatives: Much slower speed, I can't stand regular speed games lately, I won't play one unless it's at the $200 stake.

2 table 33 dollar turbos. Positives: Easy level for me, higher ROI, potentially more profit. Negatives: FPP/VPPs, sense of failure if I don't meet my goals and keep my ROI at 20% or higher (I'm 25% single tabling these). Different and weaker opponents means my game won't improve as quickly without attention to study.

Move to FTP. Positives: Probably fishier players, faster games means 50-75% more games per hour which means potentially more profit. Negatives: Haven't had a ton of experience with the structure, possibly higher variance because of faster speeds.

Combo solution:

Grind FTP games starting with 2 tabling 33s, working up my 600 FTP br from there. Game select PS games, 100-200 regular speeds, possibly 500 regular speeds selling 200 of my action.

Positives: Change, possibly more profit, better ROI on PS, more games on FTP. Negatives: Change, playing on 2 sites, possibly improving less as I'm playing different structures.

So there are the feasible options in my mind. I don't want to play another form of poker, I feel I've learned so much about HUSNG already it would be wasteful to learn a new game at this point. When I'm solidly making 75-100 an hour in HUSNG I plan to learn other forms of poker, probably HU varities. Maybe shorthanded cash, I don't know or really care at this point.

I'd like to make a decision by the end of the week. I would like to take a day and try each of these options, but I know I'll end up leaning towards the day that I run the best, it's too hard to stay objective if I try each of these options out for one day.

Now, moving on. Some things in my life I need to change that will help me play more games and keep an even temper. During this recently stretch I had done very well in playing a lot of games, playing through or getting around anger, but the last week or so I haven't really played much. It feels like I ran out of patience. I'd like to change some things in my life to avoid this in the future, or to reduce it.

Sleep

I haven't been sleeping great, basically in the last 2 years. But I can sleep OK if I'm tired. I feel good when I wake up 6-9am. This should be the ideal time for me to get in 60-75% of my games each day. Lately I've been going to sleep at 3-5am and waking up at 12-3pm. This needs to stop, I feel like shit too much of the day when I do this. More on how to change this in other sections.

Health

I'm fairly unhealthy. I smoke a half pack of cigarettes a day, I eat too many fattening foods and I don't exercise enough. Luckily I have a good metabolism and I'm tall. I'm certain a good amount of other people in this world would be very overweight and even worse out of shape if they had the same habits as I do.

Some ways to change this include walking for at least an hour everyday. I'll try to develop some sort of plan, walk x amount of minutes/hours for every x amount of games, have a smoke after x amount of games, slowly reducing cigarettes and slowly increasing walking/games.

Lifting some weights wouldn't be a bad idea, but it is relatively unimportant at the moment. I'm not weak and I'm not big on "toning." Lifting weight is a good way to reduce stress, but I don't have room in the place to put any equipment and I don't want to join a gym at the moment.

Anyways, doing the above should help keep me "tired" at night and going to bed by midnight most of the time.

Productivity

This kind of ties in with the other stuff, but I've been fairly unproductive lately. I find myself very bored when I'm not playing poker, and when I don't feel like playing (aka last week) it's just a shitty feeling.

I need to start planning and doing things outside of poker. Basically the only thing I do now besides play poker is brew/drink beer and watch movies/shows with my girlfriend. Part of the reason I don't really feel like doing other things is because I hardly ever play the amount of games I feel I should be playing. This all goes back with the "50-65% of games in morning" thing, if I have a daily goal and complete it by the evening, I'll almost certainly be in a much better mood, meaning I'll actually want to do other stuff.

------------

So that's what's been on my mind the last few days. There's some other random stuff I'm sure I forgot, but when I have figured things out a bit more clearly I'll post about it.

As to the website, husng.com, my old roomate finally got in touch with me. He's how I met the webmaster who may or may not be working on the site still. He gave me some advice as to dealing with the situation and I should have an answer within the next few days.

Some other stuff is developing that may or may not be bad for my site, I'm not quite sure yet. Regardless, the site needs to be mostly functional very soon.

I didn't play enough today, nor have I for the last 5 days or so. Got into a big fight with the g/f yesterday so I hardly played at all.

The stout my buddy and I have been brewing will be ready tonight, he's coming over soon and we're going to try it out. If it is as good as we think we're going to be experimenting with adding coffee and molasses to another two batches. We'll also continue to brew this one and probably mess around with another recipe or two (we're shooting for 5, 5-gallon batches this time, instead of 1, 5-gallon batch.)

Our goal is to brew enough beer so we don't have to purchase beer at all. This probably means we need about 30-50 gallons of beer a month (the process is about a month long). A later goal is to make a "beer meal." This would consist of an appetizing beer, something light, then some sort of nut brown ale or other darker but not super dark beer, then a really good stout for the third beer. The last beer would be the "dessert" beer and probably include a lot of chocolate malt, maybe with coffee or molasses, depending on the third beer's ingredients. Let me know if any of you has any ideas.

Back to poker, if anybody reading this blog hasn't heard, a higher up executive or former executive from Absolute Poker was found to be using that "super user" account. If you haven't even heard about that, basically that means he had access to the hole cards of every player at the table. Yikes. Here's a link with a great summary of what has happened so far: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...part=1&vc=1

That's about it for now, will update soon.

Falling Behind

On VPPs. I'm probably not playing tonight, so I'm back about 700-800 vpps from my 500 a day goal throughout the month. My 6 max buddy was supposed to play this weekend but he's been offline for the last day or two (extremely surprising, our sn's are never offline).

I won a few hundred yesterday, played great and ran good overall, though I got sucked out multiple times in the games I lost. Went like 7-2 in 110s and 0-1 in 200 regulars.

I can't not sit in a 200 regular if I see a fish sitting, it's just too big of an edge to pass up in my opinion, but it does suck to lose those. It should even out and I'm more optimistic about my near future as far as results go. I think I've improved my game and am getting very comfortable with some overall strategy changes I made to my game a week or two ago. I've still ran like shit over the last 7-10 days, but that should change soon. My ROI in 110s and 220s is horrible right now, I'm hardly a winner in the 110s now I think (maybe like 2.5% roi now, so bad) but a little heater should bring that back up to around 5%. My goal for the 220s is going to be higher than my 110s, but I think I'm a much better player than when I started playing 110s. I also only had 250ish 33s and less than 75 55s under my belt when I moved up to 110s, now I have over 600 110s played, so I should be a solid winner in the 220s a lot sooner than when I started playing like a solid winner in the 110s.

Hokie and I might do a little challenge type thing in the 220s soon, more on that if we run decent in the next week.

BR is just above 7k.

Tired, Agitated

I slept like shit last night, could've seen that coming. I don't think I'd been as upset about poker as I was last night. I read for about an hour and then went to bed at like 4-5am, woke up around noon, did a bunch of errand stuff I had to do. I ended up splitting 4 games against a fish I 2 tabled in 220s late last night, he sucked out a nice 85s he minraised-call shove to my QT or I'd of had him real good, oh well.

Started out today 2-0, won a 100 and 200 regular against two extremely weak, minbet-type opponents. I was super card dead like all game, then sucked out in the 25-50 with a few shoves over raises. Also stacked one on KQ vs Q3o (yea, that's how bad people are, they call PF raises 20bb deep w Q3o).

GF's dad is in town, came in town earlier today. I can't stand the bastard. His girlfriend's birthday is today, she's some drunk bar fly he met down here, lives a few blocks away or something. We're going to a real nice restaurant, yippie. I'd rather eat at a diner in the ghetto with friends, honestly.

Anyways, more games tonight and hopefully a big upswing.

HokieGreg is a bastard (or bill chen)

Blah, keep losing. Started out 5-0 today, then lost 7 in a row. I've never lost 7 in a row, or if I did it was at the 5s or 11s. Pretty shitty. Overall went like 6-7 110s today and 0-2 200s. Pretty crappy day, pretty crappy week/month so far. Hopefully I can rebound soon. Also lost another 115 from a Hokie 220. I seem cursed lately.

Downswing

First of all... my Poo Bah post. I've gone through like over a half a dozen edits. I think it's finally done, but now I'm not happy with the video. I've been altering my 25-50 play a little bit, mainly keeping pots smaller and more manageable, but I haven't gotten a full handle on it.

I made a 25-50 only video tonight. I recorded one match, so that's 5 minutes, then I 2 tabled a guy in the 110s and recorded 2 25-50s at once with comments. Camtasia froze when I stopped the recording and I probably lost the video. I'll try to do a few more tomorrow to try to go along with my article.

As far as the post title goes, been experiencing some bad variance lately. Today I kind of got out of it on my own, went 4-0 in 200s and 0-1 in 220s with like 75% of my action, but I lost like 200 bucks taking Hokie's action on 2 200s. He's been doing bad when I buy action off of him, that bastard.

I played 28 games yesterday and like 18-20 today, something seems up with Sharkscope, it's only recording like 75% max of my games and sometimes won't even record them unless I filter specifically for turbos, who knows.

I have 2 jobs or more to do tomorrow for my business, might be the last day of the season, I'm not really pushing any last minute flyers or leads, I'd rather play 20-30 games a day and try to hit a little heater.

Poo Bah

So my original article I wrote last week wasn't up to par. I think I tried to explain too much stuff in one article and my hand examples were way too read dependent. I've been working on a new article and am waiting a few players reviews of it before I post it. The article subject is an introduction to 25-50 blind play.

Thanks to Kalledrengen for his suggestions as well as a few other players. I will also be posting a 15 minute video I made a few weeks or a month ago.

Been playing well overall, working on improving some stuff with my game. I've been game selecting 200s and 220s and selling bits of action in some of them, mainly to Hokiegreg. The fish Bcm, Hokie and myself took for like 4k has been doing fpp satellites into the 10 dollar Sunday MTT, so it looks like he's busto for now.

Other than that, not too much to say as of now.

Dub Coop

The WCOOP Event 10: Heads Up is coming up Friday at 3ET. I'm going to try to satellite into this today (I'm 0-2 so far) once or twice and if I don't make it I'm going to buy into it directly. I'll be selling some action of myself and buying a little bit of other players. Overall I plan on spending in between 400-500 on the event.

Last night was a pretty good night. If you read BCM's blog you can hear about it all in detail, but a martingale fish I've been tracking extensively was on again. I previously made something like 300 dollars from my own games against him and action of BCM's in higher games.

I found this player sometime last week when taking shots at the 200/220s. Hokie was buying 33% of my action and I saw a fish sit in a 200 regular. I sharkscoped him, sat and then looked at his SS more extensively. It said Tilt or Super Tilt. When looking at it closely it appeared this was a 5 dollar player that when losing a game he played a 10, 30, 100, etc. until he finally won a game. It seems the first time I played him that he had done this a few times and the highest he ever got until winning was a 1k. He played all regular speeds.

The first night of this I beat him in the 200, missed registering in the 500, then BCM beat him in the 1k. He then beat a fish in the 2k and said "THANK YOU" and left. A few days later he was back and I had him down to 100-200 chips in the 200 regular and he came back. I made a fairly sick call IMO on a river in which he shoved. I had 333 for a set but it was definitely a spot where I have no problem laying it down given certain reads. I won the hand and he was down and we were planning the 500 for BCM. Then I ran QT into AA in SAGE area. Then I ran A6 into AA. Then he beat my K8 with Q6. Then he won a flip and then he finished me off shoving QTs and I called with AKs and did not hold. It was rough but I think Hokie and BCM took it harder than I did, lol. I knew he would be back and we would bust him.

Last night I saw him in a 10, he got to a 30 where Hokie was going to play him but Hokie was 2 tabling some 50s and missed him. He won that and went back to 5s. Then he lost, moved to a 10 where Joe (TheOpenDoor) took him out in one hand. He played a 50 and Hokie sat. Hokie won fairly easily, then I was waiting to get him in a 100 but another fish registered literally 2 secs before our fish sat and we were forced to watch what was probably a 50-50 match.

Our fish lost. I sat in the 200 and won. BCM sat in the 500 and won, I took 75 dollars of that action. Then BCM sat in a 1k, I took 200 of that. He won. Towards the middle of the game BCM said he might be interested in doing a 2k, to see how much action I could sell for him. I sold 700 (including 200 of mine) and he sat with the fish. BCM won and the fish was gone for the night. Good games to all for this, BCM, myself, Hokie, Joe, Dboy and OMG all made money from this guy (in order of how much we made). We'll see if he ever shows up again.

Moving on, I've had a few coaching requests lately. To anybody that reads this and might be interested, I'm charging 50/hour for now for coaching, at least until the site is up, maybe for longer. I'll also make custom videos for the same rate or review HHs (rates vary). That is all.

There's a few things holding up the site, but the forums are up, www.husng.com/forums . Feel free to sign up and post in the general discussion forum if you'd like. I don't plan on it becoming a huge forum, but if it does I would be happy, just not a necessity to making this site a success for everybody involved (including customers).

That's about it for now, I've done a little bit of work with my business, the season is almost over and I have a few more busy days on the horizon. I'm golfing with my grandpa tomorrow, last time I golfed I broke 100 and beat my goal for this season (my first season in 6 years golfing). I was very happy with the 97 I shot, but the course was a Par 68. I could've shaved a few strokes off but the greens were incredibly fast, my grandpa was even having trouble sticking chips and putting with precise speed. He shot a "forgiving" 84 (he shaves strokes once in awhile, free drops, hasn't hit out of a sand trap since the 80s I'm guessing), not too bad for a man with two artificial knees pushing 300 lbs at 6 foot.

One last thing... I have to make a Poo-Bah post on the 2+2 HU forum soon. I don't actually "have to" but at 1600 posts players kind of give back to the community by making a post that should help others learn what they know. I haven't decided totally what I want to do for this post, but I figure an article and a video or 3 should be good, it'll all be available for free and I'll post a link on my blog when I post. I have like 1580 posts so this might happen within the next 3-4 days. If anybody has any suggestions for the post please don't hesitate to leave a comment on this post. I notice nobody seems to comment on this blog anymore, I didn't install a ticker like Hokie did so I'm not sure how many, if any, read my blog these days. I know he doesn't get too many comments but has around two dozen unique readers a day (I think). Hopefully at least a handful read this blog.

Back in action

I think my PC is safe now. Played 16 games tonight, went 10-6. BR finally about up to the point it was when me and my buddy dropped 2500ish in 2 nights. Hopefully I keep playing well and not running bad and take some 220 shots very very soon.

Out of Comission

Been hit with some viruses on my computer the last few days, making sure everything is taken care of before I play at all or upload videos to the website (which I might just throw up tonight without videos or anything just so I can show everybody the site).

This weekend my sportsbetting buddy came out from California and took me to the Notre Dame game. I'd never been, it ended badly but I was impressed with the stadium. If you don't know, ND got crushed.

We headed to the new Four Winds Casino right over the border in Michigan afterwards and met up with my g/f and buddy (the one that plays on my account sometimes). They have all electronic tables at Four Winds, rake is 3 dollars max (10% I believe). They also have HUSNG and HU cash tables. I sat for about 2 hours waiting for somebody to play a 50 + 5 or 100 + 10 HUSNG or maybe 1-2 HU cash, but nobody wanted to play those games. Eventually I joined a 1-2 table and played for a few hours. I got stacked getting like 80% of my stack in on the turn as a 75-80% favorite and he hit the river. Oh well. My two buddies did not fare well, -200 and -300 I believe each. I'm not a huge fan of live play but the electronic tables are better than the even slower and more expensive dealer tables. I basically treat live play as entertainment as I could be much more efficient online. Plus I don't play FR or have the bankroll to play at stakes that could give me the same hourly as I have online.

I also am fighting some sort of real life virus, I've been taking a bunch of cold medicine and trying to clear up my chest, so it's been a good start to September.

I apologize

For the lack of posting. Last week was miserable, after I completed half of that job it rained like all week. A few tornadoes in the area, tons of rain, big storms, etc. Not a ton of poker, but some.

Website is still not up (obviously if you know what I'm talking about you probably know this). The webmaster is finalizing the logo(s) I paid 20 bucks for (ty somethingawful), other than that the complicated stuff on the site seems done. There's a lot of little things that require stuff you wouldn't normally need with, say a website like my sealcoating website (preciseseal.com fyi).

As far as videos for the site go, things are looking pretty good. I have 3 top husng players with videos done in some form, at least two have one solid video for the site already.

The free videos from the coaches and myself are coming along slowly but surely. The first 6 dollar video I made my power went out like 30 seconds into the match. I came back and recorded a 4 hand victory. I did another 6 dollar video the other day in which I won on the first hand (I seem to run a ton better in these 6s, but it helps that people get it in oh so light) and opened another game during the video. The goal is to try to get 20 minutes out of the free videos, 30 for most of the "sale" videos.

I also made a few 110 videos the other night when I came home, pretty trashed. I played the same guy 3x. The second match I really felt I played so great, but somehow Camtasia froze during the "saving" process and everytime I open it asks me if I want to recover the file, but stays at 0% recovered forever when I click "yes." Frustrating. I'll have to watch the first match and see if it's up to par, I'll either post it on 2+2 or here for free if it's good, as I'm not planning on making drunks videos of my play (no matter how well I seem to play drunk) for profit.

I finally finished that big job for my business today. Yesterday we did like 75% of the second half and a small part to finish the first half, today was 3 hours to finish it. Got a nice big check for the job and it is easily my most profitable job of the season, almost 30 buyins in my normal game.

Other than that not a whole hell of a lot has been going on. Two of my buddies came over for dinner tonight, my girlfriend cooked her favorite meal, chicken rice.

One of the buddies that came over is in a training program for a monestary in Hawaii. He should be leaving for the island in 2 months, having previously been there for 6-8 months. If he continues with this program he'll be a monk in like a year and a half. He's been working for me the last month and was the original person that got me into sealcoating (I invested 500 bucks in his original business and worked with him like 5 months after, started my business the next year after seeing how much money there was to be made/witnessing terrible management by many business owners in this line of work).

My other friend just split with his girlfriend of 2.5 years. I've been friends with her since before they dated, but I've been friends with him for much longer. He's been kind of down, but I saw his band play a show the other night (they play like every weekend all over the city and suburbs) and we decided to get together before he starts school Thursday. We haven't hung out a ton this summer, he was busy working 40 hr weeks 9-5 at a printing shop, I've been running my business and messing with poker. He also lives bout 45 minutes away, so it's not like he's a hop and a skip down the road.

Back to the poker side of things, Hokiegreg just sent me his free video for the website. He showed me some hands in it and my hopes are fairly high that this will be up to the quality he is capable of delivering. There was one hand he may have not played perfectly, but it turned out ok and his reasoning was not bad for why he played it his way.

That's all for now, I'll be watching the video when I receive it in 45 min or maybe tomorrow if I fall asleep.

I blame Jman

Been raining all day, ugly. Looks like a good chance it will rain all week, I finished about 90% of the big job yesterday (1/2 of complex yesterday, 1/2 was supposed to be today) and have no clue when I can finish the next half. The next nice day. Everything went perfect with it, it held under the showers that fell 4 hours earlier than the weather channel predicted.

I'm 2-2 today and don't really feel like playing more. I haven't felt like playing much lately, probably because I'm not making any money. I don't know how to get myself out of the never ending streak of breakeven. I swear I've ran bad, but the longer it lasts the more unlikely it is.

Anyways, website supposed to be at least functional tomorrow, so hopefully that is one piece of good news that happens. I need to make a video for the site (the 3 other coaches are each making one) but I haven't felt up to it lately. We're going to each have a free video available to anybody that registers for the site with buyins from 6-33. I know at least 2 other coaches have worked on their videos so far.

I really feel like golfing, went to the range after the job yesterday and started hitting the driver well after I worked up from the short irons. I hit the last two dozen balls in the pouring rain, but it felt good to actually hit the driver well.

I need to figure out how to get out of the funk that is HUSNG and make some money, I've been toying around with playing on FTP, supposedly players are a hell of a lot fishier and crazier, but the variance is also going to be higher. If I'm truly just running bad right now I can only imagine how I'm going to handle it if I got off to a bad streak on FTP. We'll see.

More to come soon.

Bankroll same as last post minus 10 bucks.

He started minraising almost every hand in the 50-100. I lost a few pots early on in the level and we went back and forth, he'd fold to pretty much every shove. He'd also raise to 300 and folded to 2 of my shoves there. Then came this beauty.

He didn't sit again after the third match. He would call super light all the way, he'd raise random hands it appeared and he'd shove nut type hands on the river (or so I read, never called one of the few). He also 3-bet almost any ace. All in all he was a pretty terrible player. Not a word during any of the 3 matches, must've had chat off or something.

Anyways, I've got a big job to do tomorrow and Sunday, so not much play probably. If I manage to bring in it ahead of schedule and I'm not beat I'll probably play a ton (or if it rains I'll have to reschedule).
